A New Leader in Hytale Hosting
For the past six months, CloudNord has held our #1 spot on the strength of their unbeatable value. But after an extended round of testing this summer, we have a new leader: ServerPrism.
ServerPrism isn't the cheapest host in our rankings - and that's the point. They've built the most complete premium package we've tested: enterprise hardware, genuinely global coverage, and a control panel that makes running a server feel effortless.
The Hardware Story
ServerPrism's spec sheet reads like a high-end gaming PC:
- CPUs: AMD Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 series with high clock speeds
- Memory: DDR5 ECC at 5600 MHz
- Storage: PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSDs
- Network: Redundant 10 Gbps uplinks
Instant Setup, For Real This Time
Every host claims "instant setup." ServerPrism actually delivers it - our test servers were provisioned and joinable in under two minutes, every time.
Even better, their runtime-switching feature means you can change game types on the same plan without losing data. If you're running a community that plays more than just Hytale, this is a genuine differentiator.
Server Splitting: One Plan, Multiple Servers
Our favourite feature: you can split a single plan into multiple independent servers at no extra cost. Run your main survival world on 8GB and a creative build server on 4GB from one 12GB plan.
For communities that would otherwise juggle two or three separate subscriptions, this alone can offset the premium price.
Global Coverage That Actually Covers the Globe
ServerPrism operates in four regions:
| Region | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Europe | Major internet exchanges |
| North America | Coast-to-coast |
| Asia | Southeast Asian hub |
| Australia | Oceania-focused |
Australia is the headline here. Most of our top-ranked hosts skip Oceania entirely - if your community includes Australian or New Zealand players, ServerPrism is one of the very few premium options available.
Pricing: Premium, But Honest
Plans start at 4GB for €9.19/month with a 10% lifetime discount applied, scaling to 128GB for larger networks. Annual billing knocks off a further 20%, and there are no contracts - cancel anytime.
That works out to roughly $2.49/GB, which is more than double CloudNord's $0.97/GB. You're paying for newer hardware, free DDoS protection on every server, four regions, and server splitting. Whether that trade is worth it depends on your community - for most established servers, we think it is.
Where ServerPrism Falls Short
No host is perfect:
- 4GB minimum - there's no cheap 1-2GB tier for tiny servers
- Per-GB price - budget-focused admins will still be better served by CloudNord or ULTRASERVERS
- Backups - the backup story isn't clearly documented; we'd like to see explicit automated backup guarantees
The Verdict: 4.95/5
ServerPrism combines the best hardware we've tested, real global reach, and thoughtful features like server splitting into a package that justifies its premium. With a 4.9/5 rating across 190+ Trustpilot reviews, our experience clearly isn't unique.
